Maral Gaming, the state’s newest card shop, officially opened its first brick‑and‑mortar location in Tomah (201 W Veterans St, Suite 1) on May 1st. Founded by Robert Stubbendick in November 2023, Maral Gaming has spent the past couple of years building its brand the old‑fashioned way — through hustle, consistency, and a genuine love for the hobby.
Before ever opening a storefront, the team earned a strong reputation by selling online and setting up at card shows nearly every weekend across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. Their ability to blend a growing online presence with an active show schedule helped them quickly connect with collectors throughout the region.
For Robert, the inspiration behind Maral Gaming is deeply personal. “The decision to start Maral Gaming was an easy one with the love for tabletop gaming in my family, and we hope to spread that love to you and your family.” That family‑first mindset is woven into the shop’s identity. Maral Gaming focuses on Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, and other TCGs — but the vision goes far beyond cards.
